HELP, 5th synchros grinding

My 5th grinds if I don't shift just right. Annoying but it's only a slight grind if I really jam it.

It depends what dealership you go to. My 5th gear synchro went out and I also had an ACT clutch in. The first dealership I went to said the clutch voids tranny warranty so they wouldn't fix the synchro. The 2nd dealersihp I went to said the clutch had nothing to do with the synchro busting and fixed it under warranty.

so your saying you paid for the full cost of the repair? how the **** is that possible. its a TSB, so they should replace the syncros weather your warranty is voided or not.

my 5th grinds while i get into it over 4k rpm.

elhalisf, you mean no matter if i have warranty or not they are gonna fix it for free? i got a salvage title

i got salvage title too, lol

i am not sure about the salvage title, but i know if u have mods, they still have to warranty a TSB

let me know if you find it out. but i heard many people have it fixed by dealer but the problem pop on again after couple thousand miles. so i think rebuild it is the only solution
