clutch question

clutch question

i had a question about the clutch....if your clutch was going out would slippage under regular driving be the first thing to happen...what are sign to watch for....

yeah, slippage is really the only major sign.

Slippage under WOT would be the first symptom. A test you can do is put the car in 5th gear at 35 mph and go WOT. If your rpms rise and your car's not moving with the rev increase, then it's slipping.

Yeah, when my stocker went, it started slipping in 5th first at WOT (since that's the most load), then 4th, then all over.
