Looked arond but couldn't find much on the subject. What are the side efects to alky injection? I know alcohol destorys rubber and such, wouldn't this kill the emmisions equipment after time, evap canister and lines sucking up the vapors?

Also, isn't there a preferable ratio for alcohol to gas? I thought I read some where that alcohol injection should be 10-20% of the total fuel mixture. What are the nozzles on some of these kits flowing?

 

1 side effect is that it is very addicting and owners tend to feel the need to boost 22+psi the time!!

 

not to hijack but id like to add questions, how long does a tank of alky last when being used, like will it last for a day at the track? and how much to fill a tank.

 

Boosting 22+ is something I look foreward to, that is an addiction that I will soon have.

EVOL DEO- From what I've read so far, you'll be good for about 2-3 tanks of gas, for the track...no idea. I've found stuff locally for under $3 a gallon for straight meth, no additives.

I would still like to know if there are any short or long term damaging effects that I should keep my eye on.

 

22? weak, try 26-27 daily. alky is da shiz.

my tank lasts atleast 2 weeks....most of the time more. costs around 5 bucks to fill, if that. gal of methanol is around $3.50.
