I have a similar problem with you and blowing out white bluish smoke from my exhaust. I figured that my turbo oil supply wasn't really flowing back into the block and it's causing to overflow and leaking into my exhaust. Well I fixed my oil return line ( I doubt that's your problem) and also replace my turbo oil ring and now it's running fine.

If you are overheating, you need a new gasket and you also mentioned that you checked your oil stick and oil only goes to the tip, so you might leaking some oil into your exhaust (just like what happened to me). Also check your coolant if it's low (if low or empty, meaning your gasket is blown too) and check your coolant overflow reservoir and see if some oil got mix up, if so you probably crack one of your cylinder wall and you should also do a compression test to double check ( I believe it's around 190). I gave my best, hope that helps.

Hey, that's how people learn. When I first bought my car, I didn't know crap about it. Now I modified it and of course, I faced some problems, but during those problems, I got to learn how to fix it by myself. Now I am sharing what I know.

Now back to the topic.

I dont read owners manual for this type of stuff... do they talk about smoke comin out of your tailpipes?? what about blown headgasket?? what about "how much boost i was running"? come on man, seriously I dont need your post here...
it is better for you to keep your comment to yourself if you just dont like what I ask about... alrighty dude?

OHhh sorry, I just noticed that you drive a lancer... That's probably why you dont get what i'm askin and I dont get what you're sayin... its like 2 different languages.. we can't connect bro... maybe your lancer's owner manual have all those stuff I mentioned above, but mine? I dont think so..

I'm sorry to other lancer owners, no offense, I just can't live with this type of poeple who will check owners manual when his engine blows and he think he's smart..

i was refering to the location of the coolant..

a hard way to learn things, especially when its basic things.. Like coolent, oil or just having a blowned hg... Sorry to be off topic, but i just find it hard to believe that someone would start modifying a car with out knowing the basics... Good luck with your problem and to be back on topic
I would recommend going to RRE and having Tony take a look at the car, before you damage something else... it might be from a simple blowned head gasket, and hopefully its just that.

I second that, what sounds to be a fairly modded car and not even a clue where the coolant is, or if you can drive a car with a blown headgasket. No offense, but you might want to learn basic concepts before you take your car to a shop, throw money at them and tell em to make it go fast.

Thats enough for the flamin...This dude has an issue with his car....its bad enough that his car is f-ed up...and bi tchin about how he does not know what things are in a car does not solve the issue or change a damn thing. This is EvoM and it was not like this 2 years ago. He needs advice on how to get his car repaired and what he should do. Can we please get started on this rather than bi tch about it? If you have a fu ckin attitude problem dont even reply. You wanna help out, please do so. SIMPLE.

Anyways, take your car to RRE on a flatbed. They are the ones to blame for since there isnt much else that could have caused this issue. The tuner must have did something wrong since youre only on 22 pounds of boost and running premium grade gasoline as required. Did they tell you what your Air/Fuel Ratio was when you had the GT30R turbo installed and the car tuned? My idea before was to take it to a local shop to have the gasket replaced BUT it seems that Evo8LTW is the knowledgeable yet friendly person to take advice from. Email or call RRE/the tuner about your situation and tell them youre sending your car there to be repaired. Mention some information about the possible causes Evo8LTW has mentioned. That maybe your best solution. 150 miles worth of towing maybe a lot of money, but its better that the people who may have caused the problem fix it. After all this is over..you can take some time out to learn about some things. Tell you the truth..i did not know much about these cars until 2 years ago when i began reading everyones issue with their lancers and evos. Since knowledgeable folks replied..i would understand how the parts and solutions worked. Good Luck with your issue...hope things work out for ya.

Why would you say that? From the general feel of the threads, I wouldn't be surprised if the guy wasn't changing his oil, or dialed in way too high of a boost himself. Blaming the tuner outright is pretty wrong.
