Boost question.

Somebody has to know the answer with what I am having with my Evo. When it was still stock, the car would pull hard when flooring it. Now when I got the P2 from Works and a cat-back exhaust, the car doesn't feel that strong anymore. It would boost to 20-21psi and stay in that area and not taper down but when it does that, my torque feels less. But when I floor it and try to keep the boost within 16-17 psi., the car feels strong. Anybody knows why? I already went to back to Works and they said the car feels normal with the flash.

??? the p2 is a reflash.

anyway, i think you don't feel the initial torque as much because your powerband is smoother.

Whether if I use the stock or GFB valve the torque is the same feeling with the P2. Oh and the P2 is not a reflash, it is more of and agressive remap that the P1, well at least that's what Works claim. I think negativeB is right, the power curve is smoother, but I do miss that torque.
