Please Help Muffler will not center

Installed a Tsudo cat-back on my Evo, fittment is good except that the muffler wil not center in the cutout of the bumper cover. I ordered a carbon Autothority heat shield but I would still like to center the exhaust in the rear bumper opening. Anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions would be helpful. THX

Easy fixes.

Take a Crescent wrench (you know the thumb adjustable one) and tighten it onto the thin vertical muffler bracket. Bend the bracket slightly toward the driver side until the muffler is centered.

or

Remove the above bracket from the rubber mount and replace the bolt with longer one. Stack stainless steel washers on the bolt between the rubber and bracket until the muffler is centered.

EDIT: These techniques are assuming the muffler is off center toward the driver side...

One more: use a hose-clamp (like the ones on the intake pipes) and put it around the rubber hanger. When you tighten the clamp and compress the rubber, you can very finely tune the location where the muffler sits.

I've used hose clamps on the actual hanger to keep it from moving... works great!

I got the same catback from Logic. It's pretty good but yeah the off center thing kinda bothers me. It's the bend of the muffler sections piping that makes it off center... meaning it's not enough of a bend.

I already burnt off the inside of my bumper cutout so it doesnt' matter anymore, but i put some heat tape just in case. I'll try out the hose clamp trick which sounds easy to do.

For some reason.. I can't get the mental picture of ez's suggestion. I must need lunch.

Ditto, i have the same problem does any one have a pic of the hose clamp fix? please someone post it or PM me with it, I already melted part of the bumper, which is no big deal, but i just want the exhaust to be centered. Also if there are other fixes please post some pics. The exhaust is amazing though! Sounds and preforms great! this will be my 4th product from Tsudo and i can say nothing but good things about them!
