Cam installation cost

Im just wondering how much people are paying for camshaft installations. id like to know before i get ripped off. i live in ny and i have a few mitsubishi tuners by that can install them but i dont want to spend 2000$ to put cams in. thanks.

I think the average around Socal by a shop is 350$.

Just call the tuners near by (check the vendors section and see how far they are from you,), and ask how much.Cams with install and dyno $1000 spend the other 1k on other mods and get them installed and tuned at the same time.

I did my cams today in 2 hrs. Any shop that charges more than 3.5 hrs labor for the install is hosing you. And yes, I've worked for a shop before so I know what is fair. Now the tune, that's a whole different story.
