My car has been tuned for my mods and has alwasy run great. Recetly it was broken into, and somone stole my ebc. I ran the car without a boost controller for 3 weeks conservitively and never boosted over 6 pss (highest it would boost). Now that I have gotten another controller and set it at my previous settings, the car is throwing black smoke more so than it ever did before. The boost is the same, but the gap of having no boost may have messed with the car. I'm going to get new spark plugs, and reset my ecu. I just moved it in the parking lot, and you can smell it (fuel-ish smell). I think I probably fouled the plugs while it was only running 6 psi. I had also noticed a slight stuttering while it pulled through the rpms at wot. I also noticed that my walbro is whinning now even while idling. Maybe it's the Texas heat? Hopefully resetting the ecu and replacing the plugs will sove this issue. Any other things that might possibly be contributing to this problem?

Change your oil too, it is probably dilutted with fuel. Not that that would cause a miss or anything but, it would be a good idea as well.

 

We have the same problem. The stuttering through RPM's at wot. The stutering only happens when i turn up the boost. With factory boost it does not stutter. I changed out my plugs yesterday and im gonna try turning up the boost to see if it still stutters.
