Dyno'd my car today

I finally got my car on a dyno to see how it was doing. The dyno shop could not get a good torque reading because he said my ignition was messed up. My torque curve would spike to over 1000 and drop back to normal. It was very strange Overall I was happy with my results. I did 307hp and about 310trq. This was with a conservative tune at 11.2 AFR and timing was not very aggressive. I also started tuning my methanol injection but I was having problems with the injector. I made 330hp but did not continue to push it because AFR was really inconsistent. I am close to my goal of 350awhp but now it doesn't seem good enough. I will be shooting for 400awhp now BTW I have done all the work on my car including the tuning

Next up for my car will be a set of cam gears, Bushur coil-on plug MSD DIS-2, Custom Manifold with an external wastegate, a new FMIC, and a White Rabbit with a Titanium wheel.

Here is a video of the run

I put down 304 hp and 306 tq, with just an intake, tb exhaust, fuel pump, and boost controller with Al's trusted custom flash...

but if you are doing all of the tuning yourself then the numbers do look pretty good considering...

Well i thought they were low as well but he showed me a ton of runs of other customers. It seemed good to me compared to the other guys. BTW that sheet was from the last run of the day. I did over 20 runs in a 1 hour period. The car was really hot and it was hot as well inside the shop. I am happy with the setup its nice and safe. If I want to have an extra 30hp/30trq I just need to flip the switch for the meth...

It may or may not be low...go to the track and find out. I only dyno'd 294/269 on a Dynojet, btw.

Yeah I don't take the numbers to serious. I was tired of street tuning on the expressway. That 1 hour of tuning would have taken me a few days to do on the street. To much traffic here in Miami I saw a few runs from other Evo's and their powercurve did not look as long as mine. Once my car gets about 4500 RPM WOT it never stops pulling...

The boost seems to come on very late. Check the MBC or check for boost leaks. With a stock turbo you should be at full boost at 4,000 rpm.

Opps. I made 321hp with 19psi with no header,no pipes, stock cams,on the same kind of dyno.93 oct. The UTEC is a hard item to tune. Now with 100 oct header 264/272 10.5 hot side and o2 hsg ,stock pipes and APS intake I now make 380hp and 387tq.@24 psi with a Turbo Trix Flash.
