1.49 60' time with new Stroker

Today at the NOPI finals in Norwalk Ohio, I ran a 1.49 60 ' in qualifying. Best runtoday was a 10.01 at 141 on C-16 gas, no alcohol injection or nitrous. I am the # 7 qualifier in a 16 car field.

The stroker motor is really fantastic - its truely a wonder to drive the car. The off the line performance has been enhanced dramatically.

Today after taking 4 runs down the track I can honestly say that I would never run a 2.0 L again

The stroker makes more power faster, it builds more tq and it holds the power all the way to red line. Its am amazing engine - first i had with a BALANCED crank - (all Buschur cranks are balanced) and its so amazingly smooth I can not believe I took out those balance shafts - I cant even miss them.

i was reving the stroker to 8900 rpms many times with no ill effects

Thanks for Buschur Racing for making such a great engine!

Al, next year I will be there too.... I am looking to do the stroker kit. Which one do you have. I want to run the same one. Let me know the pistons and everything that I need. Also how reliable will this car be for my wife to drive every day. By the way she still cannot forget the driving .....

Thank You and Good Luck

1.49' is solid, but nothing to write home about. If that were on street radials , but on Hoosiers high 1.3'-low1.4's can be had.

Shoot RWD cars can hit 1.2-1.3's with Hoosiers.
