how much boost on built head and stock turbo?

I just got my car tuned...well not completely tuned just a safe tune. I have a built head, stock 2.0 bottom and stock turbo running 93 octane. Whats the max boost I can go without any harm? I know 21psi is about right on the stock turbo but since I have a built race head I was hoping I can turn it up a bit

BTW will turning up the boost mess up my tune?

You will require a re-tune after turning up the boost. I'm on stock head/block minus cams/ARP Head Studs. I ran 24.5psi for around 1.5yrs on stock turbo. Added meth about a month ago and now I'm running 27.7lbs.

Having a built head does not mean that you can automatically start running higher boost
pressures safely. Since you're still on the stock bottom end, I would say no more
than in between 27-29psi and thats with a safe and conservative tune. There is a point on the stock turbo in which overspinning it results in nothing more than diminishing returns on overall boost, unless you're injecting methanol into the mix, which has a cooling effect all its own.
Plus if you are still running the factory ignition coils swap them out for either the Okada projects or a full on COP system from Sparktech,Inc. and of course the spark plug gaps with need to be reduced down to .022 as well to prevent missfires and or spark blow out.

.022 gap on a factory ignition. On the SparkTech NonCDI I'm running .028 with zero issues at 27.7lbs of boost on stock IX turbo

In Taipei, is that 93 octane R.O.N.(Research Octane Number) pump gasoline? Is that the highest octane pump gas that you can get in your country? This would be have a lower octane rating than the 93 0ctane R+M/2 pump gasoline available in most areas of the U.S.
