just wondering how many people on this board are rocking the t3/t4 50 trim??

i noticed many companies offer this turbo as an entry turbo...full-race, RNR, Agency Power, etc..... and i wanted to see how the general public liked it??

I had a 50 trim on my SRT-4. I really liked it. It can make close to 500whp on race gas and a good tune. It doesnt spool as fast as a similar sized ball bearing though. If I did it again, I would go ball bearing, just because of the transient lag.

Turbo Trix has a really nice dual ballbearing 50 trim kit. It will spool very nicely and make a lot of power -if ur interested contact them

I forgot about that. Garrett has just released a dual ball bearing 50 trim. I think the 50 trim is a great street turbo. Not too big, spools fast, and can make a lot of power. IMHO

Here is a Turbo Trix 50 trim on Rez90's car I read about :
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...0&page=3&pp=15

The turbo trix 50 trim is a custom BB turbo from Innovative. They wont release the specs to the public, but from what several others have posted, the results above are typical for this setup.

Also, I think RNR also offers the new BB 50 trim from Precision as an option on their kit over the standard bearing. Most other 50 trim offerings can prolly do the same now.
