Evo Block Pics

Has anyone got any pictures of an early (1-3) evo block at all?

I just want to see if mitsubishi removed the rwd engine mount castings from this block. The same years VR4 have the mounts, im not sure about the Evo block though.

Is the Evo 3 a wideblock or narrow?

Are all the Evo cranks 7 bolt? Or just the Evo 4 and later?

thanks
Todd

All evo blocks are 7 bolt.

I believe that the evo blocks (1-3) have the same mounts as the VR4 block except for one mount so this could be the mount you're talking about.

Thanks for that....

As far as i can see the right hand side has the same 2 bolts for the mount.

The Left hand side normally has 4 bolts in an almost rectangular shape for the mount. Most vr4 engines and evos i have seen have 2 bolts on the left as well. Can you confirm this?

Have an ask on http://forums.nzmmc.co.nz/

That would probably be the best place to ask as most of the board is made up of VR4 and early evo owners.
