Peakboost A-spec Intercooler install pics and small review

Peakboost A spec intercooler:: 24x12x3.5 Garret Core Got mine for the intro price of $579
Let me first say Ken @ peakboost is a great guy to deal with make sure you talk to him if your interested in one of these. Out of the box I was pretty impressed. The intercooler does not come with polished intanks I never knew if it did or not i rubbed a little polish on mine... Also I was missing the t-bolts and silicone which was just a mistake Ken offered to overnight them to me. I already had extras so it wasnt a big deal. Also one of the Outlets was slightly bent out of shape on the edge not a big deal...
Anyhow I have a couple pics showing the difference from it and stock. The install was pretty easy ive done quite a bit of installing things myself though. Once I removed the stock intercooler it bolted right up. Everything lined up pretty well a very tight fit around the intercooler pipes but it fits. I had to move a wiring tab holder for some factory wiring, it ran right behind the new top mount of the intercooler not a big deal. I went to put my bumper back on and realized it was hitting the outter corner of the intanks. I had to trim on the bumper theres a black aluminum piece holding the lower grille in. It flares out in one spot by the outter bolt holes a small portion of mine needed to be cut out. From what i can tell maybe the top of the intercooler could sit back maybe 5 mms and it would make it clear it okay. Still not much concern to me. That pretty much completes my install. I havent put my lower tray back on looks like it will fit with no problems the ic doesnt hang down any lower than stock. Factory water sprayer still usable.
Heres a couple pics. I painted the top bracket black on mine so it didnt stand out as much behind the grille. I still have to take some pictures with the bumper on but you will get the idea. Im having the car road tuned by dynoflash tomorrow evening so we will see if it feels any better to the butt dyno. Quality of the ic looks great overall I would definately reccommend it. I will take more pics tomorrow

That testimonial is so well written I really dont have anything else to add. I modified the exact same as he did, but it was real simple took all of 5 min. I'll post some pics when I get them off my phone.
