Can stock clutch hold 500awhp on the Dyno ?

Hi I have a question for you guys with such experience , will a healthy stock clutch hold close to 500 awhp on the Dyno not on the Dragstrip or something like that just for the tuning on a Dyno any info is appreciated thanks .

Yes. My MR did 494whp with the stock clutch and it held fine even after repeated dyno runs. The torque is what destroys clutches, so anything over 450lbs and the stock clutch will slip and cook itself.

i have a stock clutch as well and i am driving the car everyday with 400 wheel hp....they are pretty tuff!!

Also, of course, all that depends on how you drive it.

You can have 800 WHP and only use 200 of it, and have a clutch hold up fine for years. Or you can have 300 WHP and use all 300 of it and chew the clutch up in no time depending on your style.
