Transmission/Differential/Axle Limits
Transmission/Differential/Axle Limits
Im just curious at what Hp/torque the stock drivetrain starts to break. Im currently pushing 330awhp with a stage 2 clutch and everything seems to be holding fine. I plan on changing the turbo and fuel injectors and fuel pump and anticipate slightly more than 400awhp. Will the stock drivetrain support that?
We put down 806whp and around 600 ft/lbs of torque on stock axles, transmission and transfer case. The car has an Exedy triple disc. Easily over 200 dyno pulls, 100 drag races and daily driven on the street.
The weak part on the launches with 600 ft/lbs was the rear end.
Thanks!
