550.8 on pumpgas, Shearer GT35R

As you know I have been playing with the evo on and off in between racing my Talon.
Took it to the dyno last week made 504 wheel breaking up with the plugs messed up. Changed the plugs gapped them down a bit, stock ignition evo, made 551 wheel and 440ftlb torque on the dyno tonight.
This is with 94 octane pumpgas, Alkycontrol meth injection kit, and a Shearer motorsports GT35R turbo kit. I am using an AEM on that car.

So the AMS stage 3 plus the Shearermotorsports.com GT35R are a potent combo.

It is safe, I beat on it on the street, and of course this is because it has a good tune :-)

I have the dyno sheets and will post them up shortly, I can make more but it's a stock internal motor and I dont feel like pushing it too much further. It's nice to drive to the track and drive home at that power level, I have never put race fuel in this car.

Dyno sheets will be up as soon as I scan them.

It feels crazy on the street, if I add just a new intake (surge tank) to this car it will be close to 600 hp at the same boost level, I plan to take this a bit further so stay tuned.

Sean

congrats man....good power. What kinda dyno? here is a link to what i did a while back

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...light=558+awhp

...we de-tuned it to 495 awhp to keep the motor alive since i was worried about the serious load the car would indure in 4th and 5th since i don't mess with or even have a laptop so i drive the car everyday as i drive it at the track...figured safe then sorry. What is your mod list btw? BTW with 495 awhp on the dynojet we ran on and a ok driver we went 11.1 at 129mph so yeah you are right that yours rips on the road.

I have stock head Dave, and I aint detuning ****, I was beating on it like this all week, I knew it felt fast. I have it banging off the 8500 rev limit but I was doing this yrs ago in the talon and the evo springs have 10psi more seat pressure so I figured it would be fine.
It made 579 HP on one pull but I think the boost spiked and it wasn't sustained so I didnt mention that.

sweet....damn i knew i shoulda had the ***** to leave it up at high power....woulda easily hit 10s then..of course if i didn't keep breaking stock diffs i would have been there anyway. Oh well ralliart units in now and i am building the motor so should be fun. I am thinking maybe with the 93 octane i had i could do almost 600 awhp (with headwork, ignition upgrade, intake manifold and upgraded throttle body...if the last two help much, since i won't have to worry about the motor handling it. Interesting note on the talon vs. evo springs.... good to know. I think i am going to do supertech dual spring setups now..want to be able to do 9500 rpms all day and night with the built head and motor.

I have the standard shearer header for t3 on the evo, what a work of ART. I am going to upgrade to a different turbo but I have a few goals set then move on.

Sean you have the polished finish on your manifold correct? Did the color slightly change after some time?

I saw that header at Sheps trailer at E'town - Shearer was showing it to a few of us. I agree it was a real finely crafted unit. He is a very talented fabricator.

Nice results on your latest tune - I think these are records on pump gas and stock motor - impressive
