Question about fuel pump ??
Question about fuel pump ??
Hi:
I was installing the fuel pump and in the process pf installing the cables inside the pump, exactly the positive and negative wires I put them in the wrong position and start the car with the wires change. I took out the pump again and put the wires the way they should be and now the car doesn't start.
My question is does it has a fuse for the fuel pump? I put on the old one and the car doesn't start.
If someone can help me I will be thankfull......

ok, i'm home now and i looked in the owner's manual cd.
there are 3 fuel pump relays. 2 at the fuse panel behind the little cubby....the 1st one is the top left and the 2nd one is the 2nd from the top left going down (just 2 below the 1st relay) (you're facing the fuse panel).
the 3rd is in the engine bay, but not in the fuse/relay box by the battery, but rather against the firewall on the left side (you're facing rear of car). there are some little metal tubing/pipes there and it's to the right of those.
you should be able to just reset those if they are popped and it should work, hopefully. i'm not sure if there are any fuses for the fuel pump. my paper owner's manual is in the car at the mechanic's.
i hope this helps. good luck.
