So I just change my fuel pump on my evo x 2 days ago and put everything as it should be and once I installed it back in it doesn't start just crank and no fuel going thur and no pressure either so I checked the pump doesn't turn on so has this happened to anyone else when they changed their fuel pump? I need help in to fix this problem because I need the car to start asap

If all your connections are good and the pump is sealed the two possibilities are a possible burned out fuse / relay or the pump is bad. If you didn't have the battery disconnected during change, it's possible the fuse, relay or pump was damaged. Or the pump wasn't ever good in the first place.

If you checked your fuse, I'd pull another relay from headlights and put it on fuel pump and see if that works. If it doesn't, then it's most likely a bad connect or bad pump. If you think it is a bad pump, put the OEM one back in. If that works then you know it's a bad pump. Only thing you can do at that point is get another one.

Grab a volt meter and make sure you're getting voltage at the connector for the pump. If you're not, then you have a bad relay, wiring, or fuse. If you do, it could be a defective pump.

How do you check it? And what voltage should it have?

You set the voltmeter to DC voltage and put the red lead from the meter on the blue wire on the pump harness and the black wire from the meter to ground.

If you have the stock wiring, you would see 9-11v at idle and 14v under engine load. If you did a relay setup, you should see 12v with the ignition "on" and 14v with the car running.

Verify that the Gas Pump has the seal is well placed in the gas tank, because if Not it not turn on ,it could be a defective pump. that happened to me

Did you try swapping relays with the headlights trick above? That will rule out it being a relay

No I haven't tried that so you just put the headlight relay where the fuel pump relay goes? How do you determine if it's bad or not?

Yah they are the same relay, if it starts then it's bad.
