5spd. Big power makes gears go by quick as it is. If you have a tranny with shorter gears, that will just amplify this. When boost hits, it'll be time to shift so fast you won't know what to do! In fact, the fastest evos in the country all have 5spd with a taller final drive to make the gears even longer.

To substantiate this, check out the new Turbo Magazine with Gadiel's black STi on the cover...they mentioned that whomever was driving the car, with 720hp on tap you have to shift through all 6 gears to hit the traps;. The 5 speed is a more stout tranny as it is....not to mention, the 6 speed is much more expensive....

Turbos, especially big ones, require enough time spent at high engine load to really work. Go 5 speed .
