guess this part on the T-Case

what functionality does the small white "knob" serve that sits on top of the t-case?

It's just a plug to keep the hole closed preventing anything from getting inside. You take it off before installing the TC.

There's one at the end too.

are you sure youre talking about the same piece as me? not the white ring on the side of the diff...the other one at the top-middle

Sounds like it is overfull then? Did you just change or have the fluid changed?

yea i changed the fluid about 500 miles ago when i replaced the cluch. Is it just going to bleed until its at an ideal level?

You should remove the fill plug and see what the level is/let it drain down to the proper level.
