MBC's are not dangerous at all if you have a good boost guage. IMO the EBC has more likely hood of failure due to the electronic solenoid. I had a Blitz SBC-ID that the solenoid went out on just after warranty and they wanted $500 to replace it. It turned into a $600 boost guage.

These specs were taken from this wedsite: http://www.fantasycars.com/sedans/index.html

It's a great site to use to compare your car to other cars. Remeber, the driver makes a HUGE difference!

Thats good an all but I have a 03' Evo not a '05....

Just Wondering???
When you get some *****! J/k Sorry couldn't resist.

fuel pump is a given.

I can't stress how important good engine management is.

Maybe some high lift Cams(if you already have a TBE)

I'd do the fuel pump, 3" TBE, cams and then the flash at the same time! Take advantage of the flash by only doing it once. If you wait to do cams, you'll be doing the flash again.

for smaller things, like lower intercooler piping, intercooler etc., you won't need a reflash.

Not to go OT - But, is the boost gauge in the MR gauge pack accurate?

In my experience, it is. It's main problem, imo, is that it only goes up to 21.75psi, which isn't enough for my applications. I now have an Autometer that goes up to 30psi, and it reads the same as the stock gauge.

One suggestion for you would be to move the gauges to the top and switch the boost gauge to left like this:

Because it only goes so far is why i didn't get that package. I went Defi it goes to 30 psi, oh and also the MR package looks like a 1970's 8 track tape should go in it.

But as for the main post:

4: Walbro 255 lph pump

5: TBE ( i am a Bushur man personally, AMS has the N1 thats pretty good too) but if you have one already i would go with a K+N drop-in filter

6: Cams No higher than 272 if you don't plan on valve train work ( in fact i think that might need work too, maybe 264/264 for starters)

7: Definitly a reflash ( i have heard Al is the poo, thats who i am gonna go with)

But what the he*l do i know. Good luck
