tial bov

Hey im running a percision 60 trim and im looking for a stronger bov and something diffrent besides the greddy. Im looking at the tial. Im still running the maf on a afc2. Is this a good idea or bad? The shop recommend this bov or to run 2 greddy rs's. Thanks

Not a good idea to vent to the atmosphere with any bov and the MAF. I prefer the recirc. kit with the HKS bov. Definitley no boost leakage.

That shop sounds like a van full 'o' retards! Two RS's?! With the stock maf just use a recirc setup. The Tial is a very good part but not for your application.

If your running maf and you MUST vent to atmosphere like some people seem to be so intent on doing, a Tial with a heavy spring is the best to use in that case.

What makes you think the GReddy is too weak? You should have the shop do a boost leak test past the boost you run and see if it opens under pressure or not.

recirc or die... you will kill the performance of the car, even if if you think you dont notice it.. if you must v.t.a. get the maftpro, or a standalone... but there are many people here with 35r's who have a m.a.f. and recirc... so dont trust your shop as far as that goes... tial is a great b.ov. but hey you will do what you want but we warned you... lastly why did you ask us and still go against what we all said...

well i appreciate the info that i asked for. I jumped on the bov and bought it like right after i posted this so i wanted to try and see how it went thats why i said i will keep you guys posted if its sucks or it works. Im eventually going to get standalone in the next few months so if its bad then i will just swap back to the greddy.
