i charge $500. Its an all day affair at my shop. The customer is encouraged to help as well!!! We believe they should know their car and get involved with it. Its funny, ive never had a repeat customer. Once they see what it takes, they are a bit more responsible!!.... RRR

Thats awesome you guys let your customer help. Where are you located? I wish there was a good shop in chicago that did this.

Survey says a lot of people are clicking "under 300" when they did the job themself.... just like the original post author asked them NOT to do!

chmodlf, would you like me to edit the poll to remove the "under 300" catigory to correct this?

depends on how you look at it when i got mine done 2000.00 cash total for an exedy twin installed..average price on the clutch is prob 1400 or so shipped. then 50 for fluids so i guess about 550.
