reputable shop in your area charges $400 and another one $600 what are you going to do pay more to feel better?
This is marketing 100. The majority of people would take it to the $600 shop. If it costs more, it must be better. And what is peace of mind worth these days????(yes, we know this isnt always true) A TON of money, thats what. Did you know there was a study awhile back that looked at Rolex watches. If 100 people went to the watch shop and saw 2 watches. Both the same. One cost $5000 and the other $500, there was a majority that would buy the $5000 watch. So did the people who paid $5000 get overcharged. No, they had a choice, and when you choose to pay a certain price, there is no overcharge........

This was beautiful! I am debating doing mine myself. But perhaps I am a glutton for punishment or just cheap. LOL.

BTW I recognize the Goodyear racing air tools. I just bought a set. Let the good times roll baby!

$500 for the install, unfortunately for me the shop was unable to turn it around in a day, I had to wait almost 2 weeks. Then when I got it back, the clutch pedal dropped to the floor, and they said it was normal, and the car was running funny, come to find out they forgot some vacuum hoses... and the clutch line needed to be bled, which I did myself. On top of all this, I now have to take the tranny out (I am doing this one myself) and figure out the obnoxious sound that is coming from my tranny, I can't pin point it but from what Fidanza and exedy have told me, it wasn't torqued properly So, lets hope its that easy. And don't ask me why I am not taking it back there, I already tried, he blew me off... but then I realized, I dont want them doing it anyways... they f'ked it up the first time.
