NEWS RELEASE DYNOS ARE JUST FOR TUNING!!!! JUST FOR TUNING!!!! Al's car "Dynoflash" dynoed at 580awhp at Buschur's. Buschur's black car that trapped 141mph dynoed at 540awhp. The power is in the traps dynoes are for tuning and can read whatever the dyno operator wants them too.

Car's that dyno 280-290awhp on Buschur's dyno are trapping 116mph -117mph.

Jasil is right!

I imagine if I can trap 117.80mph with the stock 03 turbo then the 20G-9 hopefully will produce the power I need to reach my goal. Maybe I will go ahead and get the head work done and buy the AMS intake manifold to help aid my goal.

My stock turbo time could have been in the 11's, but realistically I didn't expect to nail a good 60' my first time to the track and first time launching an AWD car. Next year is a different story!

Very interesting combination of parts (RnR Header + 20G-9), I've been thinking along those lines myself . Please keep us posted! In the mean time, "golf & drag racing" , seriously odd combo ?

The track conditions that day were ****-poor. It was an issue that the track was aware of and a complaint that every higher-hp car complained about.

All of us AWD cars were cutting high 1.7 to high 1.8 60' times that day... including me. I'm sure you could have easily hit a 11.8 or so with better track prepping that day.

I'm looking forward to your build, Philip. I know it's really early to be planning, but you plan on entering the AWD class or ShowDown class next season?

I have been playing golf since I was 9 years old and played on the junior tour when I was 11-13yrs old ranked 2nd in the state in my age group. I am 30 now and before a serious car accident just over 2 1/2 years ago I was a 2 handicap. I have participated in the Remax Long Drive Championship with a 375yard drive using a normal length driver(45 inches). The long drive pros use a 48-50 inch driver(big advantage). As you can tell, I love golf! I am not suppose to play golf following my accident, but I can't walk away from something I love no matter how much pain I endure. I can still shoot high 70's to low 80's. Not bad for an old man who's been in 9 car accidents and 2 motorcycle accidents.

I have been drag racing since I was 17 years old and bought my first car, a 1985 Camaro Z28 with a tuned port 350. As you can tell, I love drag racing!

This isn't my first rodeo!

Wasn't Buschur's RS that ran the 11.3 with the 20G on a stroked motor and Buschur Stage III head? I think I remember Dave saying that he felt that this turbo should be good for sub 11's, but that was with a built bottom end and head work among other things.

I think 10's will be possible with a good tune and driver, and good supporting mods for the 20g-9. I base this off the fact that I ran a 11.8@116 on pump gas with only 275/261wtq on dave's dyno. With the extra 75 wheel horspower thats possible, who know's... I am excited for the 20g-9

+1, im curious about how much the times would change if the evo9-20g was on a stock block and head evo? also, what kind of change there would be in power?

I think the weight of his RS may also help things out slightly You could run a ten with the turbo (As Curt proved) however the car may not like it (Audible knock, spatter on sparkplugs, etc...). Run VP Import, lock the wastegate shut and go for it
