I know the JDM model of the Evo has the ACD and AYC systems on it but I was wondering if there was any way to add the ACD to the US model. I think it would make the car not only much more fun to drive but help perfect the cars handling. Anyone know anything about adding this system to the US Evo?

 

yeah, I can answer that one for ya man............and you aint gonna like it too much. unless there's some kind of remote way to locate it, it can't be done. you see, where the hydraulic pump would normally sit on the engine to drive these systems, you will find an emissions pump which is required by law. so unless you want to make this car "OFF ROAD" only, I would think of other mods to make this car better than to think of that. maybe you could think of something like an LSD for the front end or something along those lines. good luck and happy tuning.

The other issues you would have what kind of control does the ECU have over the ACD and AYC systems?

we have minor "technical difficulties" but nothing that can't be overcome.
