Japanese HF cats
just on a side note related to what I do for a livin, the cats we use on our co-generators cost a little under $20K. And our larger units have 2 of these! Of course, they are quite large and have to pass strict Cali emissions. I just rememebr havin to replace one and when I put the order in the work order, I saw the price....man, luckily we have customers with deep pockets...

they are 1000 dollars for a very good reason I'm sure. and that article does say to stay away from the "cheap" cats. Does anyone actually have an APEXI super catalyzer or SARD? comments on it?
I'm close to buy a HF Cat. I would like to clarify some information:
Do I need to turn up the boost after a decat or HF cat?
Does it increase or decrease the boost naturally?
Do I need a tune?
I heard from an Evo owner that after he put the decat he felt a power increase and a torque loss, he said that maybe he felt the tq loss due to adjustment of the ecu.
How does it change the power/torque curve?
Any help I would appreciate
