are authority complete kit bushing all metal?? and is the shifter cnc like B&M?

I had B&M and it was the most quaility shifter i have ever seen. but i sold the car with it.

I am liking B&M non adjustable with zackee bushing and metal bushings from lancershop. but total comes out to be 200 so maybe I'll go with authority if they are at least close as B&M in terms of quality.

WORKS 30% short shifter + Kartboy underhood + some Ebay brass base bushings + Redline fluid cocktail + Powerflex front engine bushing = the best combo ever!

I had those DSM style short shifter, not specifically made for the Evo... and it sucked... I got mine on Ebay and I'm glad to have gotten rid of it and spent money for the WORKS short shifter.

LOL, some of these responses are comical.

The bottom line is that if you paid more than $109.95 for a shifter kit AND the four interior and two underhood bushings, you paid too much.

I have the B&M Adj kit with the 15% and 45% but did not like ether setting on it so I had it modified to also have a 30% setting and now its perfect B&M should have made it like this from the start. That shifter in 15% feels like stock and in 45% it takes to much effort to get it in gear and you must be spot on when you shift but with it at 30% and with the Counter weight it’s a good combo.

Quick question, I'm in the market for a short throw shifter but I've read that in order to install most of them you have to cut/trim a piece of the plastic shifter base (I'm not talking about the plastic retainer), otherwise shifting will be compromised. I think Works shifter's design doesn't need any cutting on the shifter base, is that true?

Another thing, I tried to install a Momo shift knob on my stock shifter but the counterweight was on the way, so I couldn't install it. Works shifter has a counterweight I believe at the same height position as the stock one, so I won't be able to install my shift knob either. Which other shifter will allow me to install any shift knob and doesn't involve any cutting on the shifter base?

Thanks.

I'm using the Lancershop brass underhood bushings, poly shifter base bushings and Kartboy short shifter and I love the way the car drives!

I drove a friend's car with the Buschur aluminum underhood bushings, and B&M adjustable kit. The 45% shorter throw is crazy! It's got a nice feel to it, and all the metal bushings feel great too.

I don't think I would ever trade my Kartboy for anything else, but if I had to it would be for the B&M adjustable.

This is crazy, I didn't realize how many people have ss with bushing's. This is something I am now very interested in. One question for TED B, other than a shorter throw are the shift's that much more precise? I find my car shifts fine in all gears, but at the track 2nd gear @ 8K sometimes will give me problems. Thanks
