OK, not surprised. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't something simple like that. Otherwise, I'm sorry, but I don't have any other ideas that I can think of off hand. Good luck. Be sure to post up what they eventually find out is the cause.

live again old post and bring me answers to my question. So I have an Evo ix and on any normal day the acd acts as it should I can cycle the modes and do fine. winter hits and I want to drift a little and as soon as traction is lost all 3 light up. is this supposed to happen? fluids are good and no whine. Pump rebuild?

odd question here but i have a strange problem with an evo Ix, whenever i switch modes to snow or tarmac the engine misfires. The misfire sounds like it has dropped 2 cylinders like a ignition coil has gone. Once it is put back to gravel all is good again. What is the relationship between the two?

The ACD controller is separate from the ECU, so that's really strange to me. Maybe you have an electrical short somewhere that's bridging the wiring between each box?

Can someone confirm if Evo 8 ACD pump will work in Evo 9? Are they the exact same part? Part numbers are different/not superseded. Thanks.

Thanks! Unrelated but my girlfriend is Croatian and throughout this process I've been telling her the resident Evo ACD expert comes from her country.

So just to be clear.... the proper ACD reservoir level should be read with the engine off and the engine cold, right? (2005 US Evo8)
