Buschur\Jarod, can you guys post the same type of test with your Race FMIC?
Great post\info by the way DUROEVO.

DUROEVO,
I went to that forum and read more. Please request to test the BR FMIC? I'm going to go to a bigger FMIC when I go with a 3037 or GT35. I had the BR Race FMIC in my sights, but now I don't know. The have a flash video about intercoolers that's pretty good.
I totally agree with you.

Cut and zip tie. Takes 10 minutes. If you want to go back to stock, undertrays can be found at local shops as well as fs section. Shouldn't be too hard to find a used one.
Kevin from Nisei is a good guy. He goes out of his way to make customers happy.
Below is one way to do it.

Yes you can still use the undertray but you have to cut out the high part that is under the stock fmic. Then you have to cut a section out of the "tow or tiedown point" access panel. The access panel still mounts at both ends though.
Heres the thing, unless they changed the design since May, only the top center, stock bolt holds the IC. Which I do not think is a problem with stock IC piping because it is well bracketed. However, how many after market IC systems have you seen with support brackets? I know of one, uh, Nisei. Keep that in mind if you have or had intent to buy other IC piping.
Other wise, it's a good cooler I think. A friend that helped me install my IC got the other leading brand afterwards and prefered mine due to poor fitment of his lower IC pipe and he had to delete the front screen.
Hindsight, APS looks real good.

Quoted from AMS's post regarding their race intercooler:
-AMS RACE FMIC Core. 22" wide x 12.5" Tall x 4" Deep With 3" inlet and outlet pipes *our core is skinnier but it doesnt sacrifice any HP and makes install and bumper trimming a little bit easier*.
The dimensions on the Nisei FMIC are: 25" X 12.62" X 3.5"
then do some highschool math to figure out the volume.... which is: V= L X W X H
and for the AMS RACE = 1100.00
Nisei's FMIC = 1104.25
So from this both the AMS and NISEI look to be very similar.....
I'm going with Nisei

What are you guys using for piping with your Nesei FMIC?
