in the case EVO7, 5200~5500 rpm's max boost is 1.3bar
(18.7psi)

if you have change down pipe or Exhaust.
It makes easy to reach target boost.
but that makes easy to reach overboost too.

after the EVO7, stock ECU controlled Overboost.

in the case on EVO7
3000~6000rpm : 1.3bar(18.5psi)
at 6000rpm : 1.2bar(17psi)
6000~ : 1.1bar(15psi)

May be you can solve this symtom.
use stock pipe or use little small pipe.

but best way is reprogram ECU or BOOST CUT DEFENSER with
Piggy back like HKS F con-S, F con-V Pro, Greddy E-manage...
(Please do not use defenser alone)

Sorry for my poor english, I'm Korean.
So, english expression makes me crazy
I dont think its boost cut - becuase the same exeact dip is there on the stock dyno chart and its so slight you can barely feel it - - you just see it one the dyno sheet

You could always replace the EVC V with a $100 Manual Boost Controller, and get the same results.

40hp for $300, then. Not bad.

Of course a NEW S-AFC costs around $350.

Unless the ecu tests are more sophisticated than 2G DSMs just zip-tie the DS02 to somewhere inside the car - be aware tha it gets quite hot (of course). I have mine zip-tied to the steel centre console support bracket and have not had a DS02 CEL in a couple of years, not once since I moved the sensor.

Heh just checked out the pruvenperformance site and they posted their timeslips. Why do they say Dodge on the timeslips? I hope those are sponsors or something. They don't put manufacturers on the slips around here so I'm just curious.

They put Goodyear and Dodge on that timeslip because those are sponsors for the drag racing at that track. Instead of "left" and "right", the lanes are identified by the sponsor's name.
