Al,

Are you running any gauges in your car yet? If so what, and do you have any pictures. (Same question for Dan at Vivid also).

Thanks,

it dips down a bit richer to the end - - the stock car is very lean in the mid and rich at the top - - the super afc works it perefct

Hey Al, Looking good. EVOs are really nice. Still waiting on making a chose EVO or STI at this point or just keep pluging away on my WRX but the Evo looks very nice.

Do you feel any jerkyness with the S-AFC??
Do you feel this 5spd is strong??
Any knock??
Can you bost your dyno sheet?

Thanks
Eric L.

Nice.. lets see a dyno sheet of before and after!

I want to put an AFC on my car, but don't like the idea of splicing wires on the stock harness. But for as cheap as they are and the gains possible.. hmmm..

Impressive . I'm getting a baseline for my evo on a dynapack next week and hopfully i'll get mine 1/4 MI tested. Then i'll redyno it when i decieded to mod it and then track test it to confirm my gains .

What dyno are you running AL? 40 WHP is very impressive at 20psi's.

Would anyone with a scanner be willing to post up the dyno sheet for me - I can fax it to you - just IM or PM me your fax #

No jerkyness with the super AFC - its smooth - but the dyno does show a dip in both the stock can and my car between 5200 - 5800 rpm and it looks to me like a timing issue - whether its becuase I saw some detonation there and it self adjusted - or if its just the way the stock curve is - I dont know - - I though I read somehing from vishnu that they had a timing curve issue at that rpm point also

No knock I can hear-but I need a knock link

It's my think, power or torque drop 5200~5800rpm.
happen ECU'S OVER BOOST CUT FUNCTION not igniton
timing issue.

in the case EVO7, 5200~5500 rpm's max boost is 1.3bar
(18.7psi)

if you have change down pipe or Exhaust.
It makes easy to reach target boost.
but that makes easy to reach overboost too.

after the EVO7, stock ECU controlled Overboost.

in the case on EVO7
3000~6000rpm : 1.3bar(18.5psi)
at 6000rpm : 1.2bar(17psi)
6000~ : 1.1bar(15psi)

May be you can solve this symtom.
use stock pipe or use little small pipe.

but best way is reprogram ECU or BOOST CUT DEFENSER with
Piggy back like HKS F con-S, F con-V Pro, Greddy E-manage...
(Please do not use defenser alone)

Sorry for my poor english, I'm Korean.
So, english expression makes me crazy
