Same prob on my 05...had it for about a year now and started happening about last month...will let them have a look at it next month when it goes for its 2nd service.

That was a very usless post, iam dumber having heard that. but any back on topic, I dont think its the throwout bearing because then it would be doing it in every gear im in.

Reviving this thread, found it in a search because I am having the same sound. Sounds like a semi high pitched "BRRRRRRRRTT".

Anyone have any more insight? Is it confirmed to be the throwout bearing, cant find it in a search.
