1st. Are you on a stock tranny and or t/c if so how long have you been?
2nd. What clutch are you running?
3rd. What Whp/TQ have you put down?
4th. What 1/4 mile times and trapspeed's have you seen?
5th. What injector's are you running?
6th. What cam's are you using?
7th. What kit are you running?
8th. What rpm do you hit full boost?
If you do not run or have experiance with the 35r please do not repond. This thread is meant to be a quick refrence for those of us with, or looking to purchase a 35r. Thank's in advance

I broke the stock first gear and rebuilt the tranny.
Stock Transfer Case
I broke that with an ACT street disc and pressure plate.
I now am running a Quartermaster twin-disc (ACT was being overpowered.. didnt last too long)
Never dynoed the POS
Ran a craptastic 11.5 @ 123.5 (Had quite a few problems with the car as well).
Maxxing out "780cc"s
272 Cams (Id go bigger definately)
I dont use "kits"
Lag is dependant on gear... there are a few threads discussing it. Assume to be around 5.5k in first and second... slightly lower in 3rd and a little lower than that in 4th. Spool is overrated anyways... the stock motor can spin to 8.5k every day of the week and do just fine... plenty of Rs to use the GT35r.
Judging by your sig you will be perfectly fine running around 40psi shifting at 9k or so. Injectors should be ok. Your fuel pump should be upgraded. Get some tires and run some low 10's.

1st. Are you on a stock tranny and or t/c if so how long have you been?
Yes! The car is 3 years and the GT35r is 14 months. Maybe sending to TRE or Shep in hope to fix high rpm/4th gear locked out problem. Everything works perfect on daily street driving.
2nd. What clutch are you running?
ACT -> ACT -> Exedy twin (good so far)
3rd. What Whp/TQ have you put down?
410/325 on 91 and 530/410 on c16 all on dynojet.
4th. What 1/4 mile times and trapspeed's have you seen?
Good at launch, suck at shift, 3/4 gear problem hence 12.2 / 122mph
5th. What injector's are you running?
Precision 780cc
6th. What cam's are you using?
264/272
7th. What kit are you running?
RNR with equal-length manifold.
8th. What rpm do you hit full boost?
4700-4900 rpm

Well one of my old setups on my 03 WW I made:
444.4 whp 393.3 tq on 93 pump and 22psi
Mods were:
Buschur Stage 4
AMS GT35R Turbo Kit
DynoFlashed
Stock Block
Denso 660cc
Ive added:
Magnus Intake Manifold
Accufab 75mm TB
1000cc
AEM EMS
made 450whp and 375tq on 93 pump and 21psi
yes not much power difference but it was more reliable.. kinda

Yeah those were the good old days... Yes it was a custom flash... The safc I had was there but was never used after my tune
Oh yeah I forgot to mention my clutch.. it was on OS Giken Twin Disk with Push Type conversion...
HKS 272/272
Stock Everything else, such as STOCK UPPER IC PIPE for the 444.4whp
Ive hit 27psi in 4200rpms.. I dont remember when I hit 22psi though.. its been over a year since I had this kit

Ok GREAT because I cant afford a AEM right now. I will just get a custom flash for now and later on do some more mods. I got 750CC RC Injectors on standby thats good enough for A custom 35R with 272/264 GSC cams on stock gears?

The gt35r shines at 27psi and above... once you get there you dont want to set your boost any lower

LIFER,
Curious as to why you switched from the Vpro to the AEM EMS, as I have done the opposite of what you did?
OH
1)Built tranny & T-case from TRE with longer final drive and LSD
2)Exedy triple carbon with heavy duty pressure plate
3)Haven't dynoed with the 35r and built motor, but stock block = 485whp/?tq on a mustange dyno at 27psi
4)Never ran it at the track with the 35r
5)Rochester 1000cc
6)HKS 280's, but looking for something more aggressive
7)AMS 35r
8)Latest logs were showing 14pounds(w/g pressure for now) at 3800-3900 in 3rd gear on the street
