Warr, I haven't been to all the dyno in Colorado but I've been to a total of 4 (that includes MAC). They all use SAE correction factors.

He also said that Alky injection is crap and that he'll guarantee anyone with an evo that he'll get them 390 to the wheels with those mods plus cam shafts, injectors and that lower ic pipe. I don't really know where that crank pulley came from... but if you have any objections, go ask the Mac people. Scott there will tell you the same thing. Tommy at Street Concepts will also say the same thing.
Youre kidding right . So this guy tells you 390whp (stock turbo, pump gas at that elevation). He then goes on to say alcohol injection in crap? Woaaah I think I wouldnt visit that place... I find it strikingly peculiar anyone could be believe that.

Please point out 1 EVO on this board, yeah just ONE with the stock turbo and pump gas (91-94) making even 380whp, not even 390. Of course without "crappy" alcohol injection. Lemme know when you find one

His comments were almost as bad as the shoip who said cams will hurt power on the stock turbo

Yeah, these guys are being fed some major bull out here, and I intend to remedy the situation. I've synced up with a local shop who is interested in dominating the local Evo market, and with what I've been hearing related to these other shops, it will be easy. This shop is close to me and will have a DynoDynamics dyno very soon, so I'm in good shape as long as they let me do the talking/consulting instead of doing what these others shops are doing.

I had thought Street Concepts was good to go, because several members on here have them in their sig and are sponsored by them to some degree, but when Takahashi included them in this farcical claim about 390whp on pump gas, it makes me doubt. It also makes me doubt when I hear how they try to push the SAFC so much...

I'm all for searching, but it would be nice to have a sticky or two about proven products that make X amount of AWHP (perhaps go on median or average of all dyno results, or 1/4 mile MPHs calculations).

I love reading about 900whp monsters, but knowing just how far I want to go without going nutty (replacing turbos, breaking things, ect) would be nice to see in one place. Searching will yield many, many results, and if you are not sure what criteria to seach for you have to educate (not a bad thing) yourself along the way also dealing with the flame wars between tuning camps, opinions, incorrect information, and just plain BS - that type of critical thinking is becoming rare nowadays The years I've been here I have a good idea about what it takes for the realistic lower whp goals, but that's with daily reading...for years.

I like your no BS style Warrtalon, can get get a sticky, or maybe a link to your site with these results?
300whp
350whp
400whp
450whp, ad nausium.

Thanx!

Well Im sure since there arent many shops out there theyre trying to manipulate all the local EVO owners into thinking what they say goes as far as power output.
Its a shame they are that ignorant. Also a shame some of these guys believe them. Here at EVOm we have 1000s of EVO owners, with track times, dynos, etc. 95% of us still have the stock turbo and the numbers are out there. How could anyone believe those claims when not one of the thousands of members on here has them? Comeon now! Im happy to hear your taking care of the situation out there because it needs it!

For 05s with the 10.5 (for 03s, add 10.5)
300whp - Warrtalon Stage 2 (tbe/mbc/bov/fp/flash)
330-340whp - Cams/LICP
380-390whp - Alky/manifold/o2

Beyond this, you need a turbo upgrade, and that's outside my experience.

You mean those plus, exhaust, cams alcohol (or race gas) fmic, etc. Right? Because standalone with mbc will net you roughly 300-310whp

Good point. No one should comment or help this guy out because we don't have 400whp. Seriously, keep the comments on topic and non-moronic. Yours was neither. If you want to flame someone, PM them.

Oh, and you dont have 400whp either?
