This should be in the instructions with your guage.
1.Tap into Intake manifold per guage instructions (usually a vac line between manifold and FPR)
2.Run vac line or wiring through firewall
3.Mount/Wire guage

This is vague, but it shouldn't take to long. And just so you know, it's normal to see slight vac readings (-#) @ idle and light throttle conditions.

Those readings for the US are around -16/-18 hg.

Most people here use US version gauges, so telling us what they are in metric will not help.

And heres a good link to a pressure converter site. It has a conversion table, and also has a pressure converter that allows you to input one measurement value for say PSi, and then it will auto-populate the rest of the other pressure measurement units for you. A neat tool for turbo heads particularly when you are setting-up an AVCR or similar rpm/speed programmable boost controllers.

I would suggest getting a good quility gauge like greedy or Hks. I have never seen them read wrong. I have a full Defi set in my WRX and they all read high. But the greedy's are always dead on and electronic so install is some what cake if you have done any boost gauge before.

OK, so tell me this. I've seen the Mitsu gauges installed, and they had about 10 wires coming out of the back connected to ten other wires, which leads me to believe that they are electronic as well. Probably seeing whatever the ECM sees. Right? So if that's true, is that bad? I mean, how inaccurate could they be?

Quick side note: Does anyone have any info on the cargo net? I've noticed there are no hooks for one, yet it's listed in the accessories. But when I asked about it at the dealership, they didn't have a code for one. I'm wondering if they didn't make a mistake and put one up for the regular Lancer. I know, who cares about cargo nets. Well, they are surprisingly handy for holding stuff in place while zipping around.
