Are you happy with your Forge Products?
I am not trying to disrespect Forge in any way I just wanted to hear some feedback from people who actually use their products. It seems that they get hyped up way to much by all of the vendors on here but are their products really that good?
When I first got on this board all of the vendors made Forge seem like a a really good product. When I started modding I bought into all of the great stuff I was hearing about all of their products and purchased some of their stuff. I have the old style Recirc valve on my car, which everyone knows that there is part throttle boosting issues. I was like ok nobody makes perfect products ill deal with it until they release a better BOV and wait for reviews. I havent had a chance to test the RS BOV first hand but ive read nothing but positive feedback about them.
Next off I again heard so many great things about their WGA so again I ordered one to see what it was all about. Well i thought it was good until Saturday when I was getting tuned I was told that my wastegate is not closing all the way. Well since its adjustted all the way down now I was told that I have to take it off and cut a couple of threads off. I was really upset when I heard this because why would I want to pay X amount of money on a WGA that I will have to modify myself to make it work right on my car. There was anonther car that had this same WGA and he had the same exact issue as me. On top of that I saw 2 brand new Forge boost controllers fail within a hour or two of each other.
How does everyone else like their products from Forge? I think they look awesome and are made great but they just seem a bit sloppy on some stuff.
As I said earlier im not trying to give Forge a bad name im only posting what I saw first hand. I made this post so everyone else could comment on their experiences with these products.

I didn't have much luck with the UNOS MBC ... apparently though the shop where I had it installed was ultimately able to get it working after they very aggressively cleaned it out and greased it up. Forge will hopefully begin taking care of this at time of manufacture.
Also, everyone seems to say the WGA doesn't have a wide enough range of adjustment and requires cutting of threads ...

Many components of our products are manufactured and assembled by hand, which lends itself for mistakes and errors to happen. There's no denying that fact.
There have been a couple of issues with a few products in recent history, but we have taken proactive steps to resolve those issues as quickly as possible and to help those individuals that have experienced the problems.
ALL of our products come with a LIFETIME WARRANTY, however, which you will be hard pressed to find from any other manufacturer of similar products, so if you are experiencing a problem, contact us and we will work with you to have it taken care of right away at no cost to you. This includes any issues that you may be having with a valve, actuator, or any other product we manufacture.
It seems that often times, the first course of action is consult the forums, when, in fact, you should be contacting us first.

forge bov...hate it. the part-throttle flutter drives me nuts. tried every combination to get it to go away and finally gave up. have heard good things about their new one(again, heard). don't drive my car in the winter much, but come spring, jdm mr valve for me
just my .02.....

just my .02.....
I love the old one. Throw the red spring in it and the bad boy will hold 32+psi all day long. The blue spring will hold 28psi. The old style is great for guys that have turbo upgrades w/ ported shrouds.

I love my forge products and they are simply the best which is why I sell them also
As for the actuator - you do have to shave a few threads off of the end in most cases but it is easy to do with simple hand tools

I will concede that the actuator rods are sometimes too long, and to a much lesser extent, sometimes too short.
The rods are bent, cut, and threaded by hand in the UK (to an OEM sample as a guide), however, sometimes the rods will be out of "spec".
We do our best to catch these mistakes before a product goes out the door, but occasionally, we miss a few here and there.
Like I said above, if there is an issue, we'll take care of it, no matter what! Just get in touch with us!
