It could look significantly different than the way it's pictured in Warrtalon's post depending on the type of upper ICP and Intake you have. I have an Injen kit so the plane of my adjustment knob is basically parallel to the plane of the hood, not perpendicular.
I noticed you have a GT30 turbo, so maybe you have a non-stock ICP and Intake too.

I actually have Injen IC pipes and an HKS intake. Good Call.
