Someone PLEASE help me!!!

Ok, so my car has been up on jack stands for the past week trying to pull the transmission. I have followed the write up on removing the tranny, and my problem is that the transfer case WILL NOT come loose of the transmission. The damn thing is just stuck, i've disconnected the driveshaft and every bolt on the tranny and transfer case. the two will just not come apart. ITs getting to the point i'm about to get an engine hoist and pull the whole ****ing motor. SOmeone help before i lose what's left of my sanity.

you pulled both front axles, and both of the shafts out of the transmission/transfer case right? After you pull the front axles there is a shaft on each side that has to come out first.

Also, be sure you have all 6 bolts from the transfer case.

There is a shaft that you need to remove from the drivers side wheel well. You probably need a pull hammer or some serious muscle. You will be pulling it from the side of the trans. So you will need a bolt that fits in and some serious pull power.

can anyone post a picture? i thought you could just pull off the axels and seperate the t-case, then disconnect the throw out bearing, and the transmission should lower down. (of course disconnecting all the bolts, etc.)
