clutch stuck engaged!

clutch stuck engaged!

Here it goes we unbolt everything following all the instructions Get the tranny finaly off take out the old clutch kit and fly wheel align it all correct follow the instructions backwords to get it back together right went to test the gears to see if the shift cable was hooked up correctly. Take our time and i cant push the clutch pedal in the batter is not installed and the car has not been turned on. please tell me if theres anything i can do or what is wrong because this has been a very hard evo tranny clutch change i mean its crazy please i need all the help i can get. The problem is when i push in the clutch pedal it doesnt go down it doesnt do anything its like stuck and it looks like the clutch is engaged but i dont see how that is possible if theres anything anyone can think what is wrong please help me !

did the tob engauge and then my next question would be was it like this right after the clutch install if so i would question of the clutch disc was put in backwards....

The click was probably your throwout bearing seating in the pressure plate. It should only happen once. Check to make sure EVERYTHING is connected properly. Shifter cables, slave cylinder, bleed slave if necessary (someone may have pressed the clutch while it was disconnected), I would also think about your disc being installed in the wrong direction.
