Hey Dave, whats the spool like on your 3076 kit(not sure if you have one) and what kind of #'s do you think this turbo could potentially put down.

Well given the new spooling numbers of the GT35R kit I am going to have to say the GT3076 is going to make boost another 300 rpm sooner, so under 4,000. Not sure what it will make on our dyno. Depends on the combination of the rest of the car and fuel we use.

Are your kits readily available?
Is there an option for having the dumptube rerouted back into the exhaust(I will also need a new downpipe)?
What are your thoughts on the 3076?
Sorry for the unrelated questions.

Our kits are "readily available" mostly The manifolds are being CNC'd now and then they could be shipped. We ran out last week. I'd rather ship the manifold out to have it ceramic coated but if you are in a huge hurry we could ship without the coating, I don't recommend it.

Our kit uses any downpipe but it is NOT designed to accept that factory donut gasket, so if you have a downpipe with the factory donut gasket style flange you won't be able to use the donut.

The 3076 is an O.K. turbo. I think if it were me I'd opt for the GT35 if you are looking for something as big as a 3076.

The GT35r's are getting rediculous. I can't tell at this point if it is our kit change that did it or the tuning on the cars I have done but the GT35R is turning into quite a streetable turbo. I use to hate the lag of them but the last few we put on were very quick to spool.

Yesterday a customer picked up his car. We had to go out and reset the boost and do some datalogging. This car was freaking fast. 24 psi of boost with alky/pump gas in it. Manual boost controller. Our GT35R kit. Stock 2 liter, stock head, 272 cams. Pretty basic Stage 4 plus a turbo kit and the AEM EMS. On the dyno I was hitting 20 psi of boost just before 4500 on the datalog. I just pulled up a log to verify, 20.71 psi at 4675 rpm. 10.2 psi at 4,000 rpm. On the street though it was even faster, 20 psi was in at 4100 rpm. Rediculously fast for a GT35R kit on a stock 2 liter. The car was enjoyable enough to drive that I would probably consider switching to our GT35R kit.

The car is awesome Dave . I think turbo lag is overrated after riding in my car . I also got 26 mpg coming home . I can't wait to turn up the boost and try it with race gas.

in this photo several questions come to mind....
1) How heavy is the manifold/turbo combo? I wonder why Buschur doesnt make some support bracket to go onto the block so that the bracket can support the weight of the turbo/manifold?
2) is the wastegate dump to atmosphere or recirc?
3) what kinda intake can we use...the inlet of the 35R looks 4" in diam?

Judging by the picture, the dumptube does not recirc.
Usually the only reason for manifold/turbo support bracket is to support the manifold from cracking which I dont think your going to have a problem with a cast manifold.
Almost any intake would work with a reducer coupler.

I think a badass setup would be this with the FP3052 turbo. That thing has made 500-550whp. This may be what ive been waiting for
