Cam Gear Cover Issue
I recently installed AEM cam gears and now the stock cam gear cover does not fit. I have searched and found out that I can cut the the stock cover to make it fit so the AEM gears won't grind on it. Does anyone know how to do this? If so can you please explain to me? Pictures would be great. Thanks

Take one of your stock gears. Lay in in your cover lined up with the cicular ribs. All of the ribbing that it covers up needs to be cut or ground down. Very simple procedure with a dremel cut off wheel.

I clearance my cover for AEM gears using a straight edge razor blade. You don't need a Dremel. To verify clearance, put a light coat of spray paint on the cover, run the car a very short amount of time, and then take off the cover and check the paint to make sure that none of it got scraped off by the gears.
