my hks cf ti exhaust sits low(the gap bw the exhaust tip n bumper).im just wondering if anyone had/have this problem? if there is a way to raise the exhaust higher,please let me kno...oh if u have pix of how urs sit ..please post..thanks a bunch!

I also have this problem......I know a guy with the same exhaust, but his sits almost flush with the bumper, with the muffler angled up instead of straight out. I have yet to ask him how he mounted it.....

Be careful, because it does drag on bumbs!!

It is a common problem with the HKS system. That is why we build our own RnR,carbon/ti system.

 

Cant we just cut the hangers and raise the exhaust?

 

It sits low by design on all evos.
Maybe HKS wanted to make the pretty carbon fiber muffler more visible under the bumper?

 

i have the same exhaust on mine and dont have a problem with it being too low at all. The original position was too close so i adjusted the muffler on the bracket slightly and now it sits fine.

 

ahhhh geez..lol looks like its saging...hav all of u guys tried raising it?

mine sits pretty nicely and angles out a tad...do you guys have an issues with it rubbing the driveshaft?
