depends on your mod. When I had my mod a while back:

stock intake box (important), a flash, cams, tbe, with 100% bov, the idle dropped just a hair under 900rpm from a roll stop so it wasn't terribly bad. Never stalled out.

but map sensor is the way to go.

I know I am a newbie, but after reading these posts I think I am now dumber. It seems a waste of time to hear all the *****ing.
