When I suggested that the speaker would get a more positive reaction from me if he would refrain from using profantities he opened the passanger door in the mid 80's GM sedan he was driving in an effort to show me he was ready for action - when about 5 empty beer cans roled out onto the road . . . . I reliazed that these "welcome commitee " memebers meant business and I took off for greener pastures
After that david arranged to get a dyno so that us out of towner's would not wind up arrested or worse

I greatly amire the Hell's Angles are other 1%'er bikers who generally run staight pipes and other totally illegal set ups obn their bikes in definace of just about every motor vehicle law
Not only am I going to drive this thing on the road, I aqm going to laugh my *** off when some cop tries to figure out which equipment violations to issue me.
I have been driving it for some time on the road and I have found that the cops generally wont mess with you if you are obeying the speed limit and not doing burn outs like some SRT4 kids.
Its no longer a dialy driver my any means but it is a very road going car still and I fully intened to enjoy it a lot this summer.
Next week when I am at Buschur I am going to give my customers fun rides in it up and down the road - if Buschur lets me - just as I have always done in the past
There is nothing more fun than taking a car like this out on the highway for a quick shot of 3rd gear , its something that you would never forget

It is like my car... not anywhere near street legal but I do drive it quite often and dont get screwed with.
Just for warning though, if a cop really wants to be a moron he could easily have the car impounded for not being street legal. Technically they can do it for almost any reason. If it is not street legal they can tell you it cant be on the street... pretty simple. Most cops arent that big of idiots though but I have a story with one of my vehicles that they HATED but couldnt find a reason for it to not be street legal. One day they finally did... it had a burn out brake light... they towed it and told me it could not be on the road until i fixed the light. They knew I wasnt going to pay the impound fees for it but it is still the point. Here is a pic of one of my rigs:
You can guess what the "FTP" stands for and why the Police hated it so much... the last two words of it are "the Police".. you can guess what the F was

Here are some other creations of mine in the past
:Or maybe this one that never got the change to be painted:
And yes it was kinda a sausage mobile in that pic but dont let the pics fool you... chicks at bars LOVED getting rides home in my creations

I miss some of those bad boys.... once it gets warm this one is probably going under the knife... should be fun:

Sorry you can get back on topic now
I just had a sentimental spot there thinking of some of my old creations.

i cant imagine what it would feel like to have Al take me for a ride in that beautiful beast of his. He took me for a spirited(lol) ride in MY 03 8 after a tuning session and i still havnt got the smile off my face and that was over a year ago.i,ve been into high performance cars for over 30 years and consider myself an excellent driver, daily or drag racing (at the track of course) but if you want to see something spectacular go for a ride with Big Al, man that guy can drive.

My goal is to have it be a bit more driveable off the line and faster throttle response between shifts
We will see how it fares on the dyno when David gets around to tuning it
I may go back to 2.0 depending on the results
I am hoping that my current 8900 rpm red line can get me throgh the traps fast enough to beat a few evos this year

stealership. I got it the same afternoon it arrived on the 18 wheeler. To me its like a hammer - you either replace the head or the handle and keep smashing.
This year will be a big one for evos in the usa ther are a lot of people comming into the deep end of the pool and I imagine quite a few with make for some good stories

I still would have preferred one wastegate with lines from each scroll running into it. With two wastegates, even with identical duty cycles, there is going to be a small difference in flow between them. That will make two of the cyllinders have higher backpressure than the others. That will make them the weakest link.

I'm sure it will work in any reasonable pragmatic sense.
I am hoping that when I get to Buschur's next week we might be able to organize a little video with the black car and slver car
I am looking forward to seeing how it feels to drive one of those Gt42R's also
I am slowly working my way up the GT series turbo family line up
