yes, a vpc will stop the idle and every problem with accociated with the mas because it replaces the system with a vien-pressure control unit... hince VPC. its not hard to install, infact, hks makes wire kits directly to plug into certain car's ecu's so there is no splicing. im ganna have to make my own wire kit for the greddy with plugs so i can easily unplug it when going to the dealer.

Yes, the SAFC2 does have a thing for VTA BOV's. Not sure how to use it, but it's there. Controls the 2 lowest NE points.

I HIGHLY caution using the SSBOV, try the forge,.... and FU(K the sound, its not worth it

No need for VTA

I put an HKS Racing Suction kit on my EVO. I hear every breath of the intake including the PSSSSTTT of the BOV (stock). I got it from Boost solutions for $315 and got it in 4 days!!

For anyone interested, this test was done on a 2G DSM at like 9lbs I think it was.

$300 or so for a valve that doesn't work well on the Evo just doesn't make sense.
The Forge by design works extremely well on the Evo. I have a post on it's operation, etc. And it only like $150. It'll hold boost no problem because it is using boost to keep it shut and you can change the spring if you get to that boost level.
