FS: Black 2003 Lancer Evolution
Im selling my Evo because i got too many tickets and im getting an s4. The car is black, and has been driven lightly. I have only launched the car once against a Z06. The car has many modifications and is quite fast. i had a gt30r turbo upgrade ready for her, but i sold it when i knew i was ganna have to sell the car. the interior is spectacular and clean. the outside is always clean too. The car has 37,000 miles on it, and its mostly highway miles. this car is problably one of the most evil looking Evos i have ever seen (check pics). the large front mount really looks sick behind the front bumper.
Modifications:
performance:
-Turboback exhaust w/ 3" high flow cat
-buschur intake
-HKS 272/272 cams
-Spec stage III clutch
-fidanza lightweight flywheel
-perrin fuel rail
-buschur 660cc injectors
-255 lph fuel pump
-dynoflash
-large FMIC (good for 700 hp)
-RVM aluminum intercooler piping
-cusco oil catch
-HKS SQV (redirected)
-Greddy peak/hold EGT @ air fuel gauges
-HKS boost gauge ( matches stock cluster)
-Greddy turbo timer
-Tein S-tech springs (still have stock also)
-SS clutch line
-Removed nearly 150lbs of heat shield/spare tire/and misc unneeded parts
-ARP head studs (included, not installed)
-Cometics metal head gasket (not installed, included w/ car)
-project Mu race brakepads font/rear.
-cross drilled rotors R1 front
Alarm:
DEI pager alarm system- alarm on all doors/trunks, pager works up to 1/2 mile away from car, pages you what zone is set off in car. separeate power source, basically the best alarm possible
Aesthetics:
-Smoked out tails
-Black inside headlight housings (used high heat engine paint)
-20% tinted windows
-VIS carbon fiber trunk
2 sets of tires: Kuhmo (sp?) MX. & snow tires. both come with car.
I tried to get a mean look out of the car with no decals, grafics, or any sh it like that. Its been named in my area a phantom menis by some local V8 guys. Its black as night and can evade most anything. Right now the ecu is being sent to dynoflash... i had 880cc titan motorsports injectors and a aeromotive FPR on it and tuned it with an emanage and profect e-o1 combo. i used a LM1 wideband and never tuned over 11.2 AFR. THE CAR HAS NEVER SEEN KNOCK OR OVER 11.3 AFR. I hated the emange because the ecu would change maps from day to day and one day it would run in the 10.'s afr, the next at 11.2. i had the large injectors on for the turbo upgrade, but it never got installed. i switched to the 660s because dynoflash can get a great map with them, and great power.
Track stuff:
I HAVE NEVER LAUNCHED THE CAR HARD AT THE TRACK
that is big, everytime i went, which was 3 times, i only lauched at around 4500 rpms. just enough to not bog.
stock the car ran a 13.5 @ 103 mph w/ 1.94 60 ft
the next time with a boost controller and tb exhaust and intake it ran a 13.2 @104 w/2.0 60 ft ( stock clutch gave up)
The last race last season with all mods above, but with emanage,e-o1, aeromitive FPR ,880ccs:
1.94 60 ft
7.9 1/8
12.4 1/4
113 mph
this is on pump gas and tuned to 11.2 afr and 22 psi. knock was nonexhistent.
this mph is consistent with around 330 whp. i have never dynoed the car, but from what ive seen similar mph evos run make around this power. the car should actually be a bit more powerful than it was then with the dynoflash. this car is capable of 1.6 60 ft times as is, and will run 11s as it sits. not to mention if you run race gas. i never had the ***** to try and beat on the car like that... my point in modifying the car was to not need to AWD launch and be able to smoke domestic cars, and zo6... let me tell you, this car will beat a zo6 by 7 car lengths. i have pulled on a viper and ferrari 360.

bump, i have gottin a few calls, nothing serious yet. guys, this car's blue book is 27,000. im selling a 400+hp car for 2 thousand less. im not trying to make bank out of this, i just need to sell it for my new car.
actually you can get one for around 23,000 if you search hard enough. you have by far one of the nicest evos i have ever seen, probably worth every penny but mods dont really up the value to much, just helps you sell it quicker. either way, good luck with the sale... and oh yea BUMP
