We have been directly contacted by no more than 10 individuals who have had a problem out of over 500 units sold to the Evo community alone. That's a pretty reasonable number of minor problems that are easily remedied. And all potential future occurrances of the issue have been eliminated through new production and assembly techniques specific to this particular product.
And, given your mention of our customer service practices, it would stand to reason that our Unconditional Lifetime Warranty on ALL of our products would take care of any individual who has a problem not corrected by the steps mentioned in the threads listed above.

I just love the post saying the next one or future models will be better. I would say stay with the Hallman never any problems and nothing to clog.

Um, I've tried to get in touch with you Mike. Check your PM's. The Hallman went back in last night and after numerous pulls and adjustments, not one overboost problem. It actually seemed to hold better, but that's another story. All I'm saying is that after cleaning and greasing the forge as directed, I still had an overboost spike about 1 out of 10 times. Al, I saw your post even before I received my forge mbc and as soon as I got it, I used a paper clip to clean the hole. The MBC then worked great for two weeks and then it decided to $hit the bed. I honestly really loved using this item. All up until this problem. I've cleaned it twice now and greased it. Still overboosts a few times. I have a brand new wastegate actuator on the car so it's not that. And it doesn't do it with the Hallman. It seems in my situation, that the ball gets stuck in the head of the mbc. The greasing hasn't seemed to help. Fully synthetic bearing grease.
i stick behind al's post about the bleeder hole. we just got done tuning 2 of my friends cars with brand new forge mbcs and they both had the same problem. both cleaned the hole out and wam bam thank ya maam problem solved. great work this weekend by the way al!

Understanding exactly how a turbocharged car opperates, I don't see how a clogged bleed hole on a mbc will cause an overboost issue... A clogged bleed hole will cause an underboost condition because then all of the pressure will go straight to the wastegate instead of some of it getting diverted through the bleeder. It just doesn't make sense. I know I'm right on this one.
Firstly, I've been on vacation for the last two weeks, and made that apparent in my signature while I was away so anyone reading any of my posts would have been aware of that, so now that I'm back, I've had quite a bit to catch up on, so I appologize that you're feeling ignored, but our telephone lines are always open if you need to get in touch with someone immediately.
The ability to monitor the forums on a continuous basis is not a luxury that our small staff can afford right now, so please don't confuse being busy with any malicious intent to ignore you.
Secondly, if you are not able to resolve this problem through the solutions we have suggested or provided, the ability to return the product for an exchange or full refund is freely available to you under our Warranty, however, if this particular unit was not purchased directly from us, any exchanges or refunds must be facilitated by the dealer from which the product was originally purchased whether or not they be an acting member of this forum.

Of course now that I would like to return my product, the vendor has yet to issue me an RMA# after about a week. Mike, I know it's not your fault, but come on, who actually deals directly with the manufacturer? A warranty does me no good until the vendor will issue me an RMA.
