Changing transmission,transfer and acd fluids question?

Changing transmission,transfer and acd fluids question?

hi friends i went to tthe sticky of the ACD and in no part of it talks about changing your ACD fluid how do you change it? i put my car on a lift and i saw where to change my transmision fluid,my transfercase fluid and my rear limited slip differential fluid,but when looking for the ACD fluid where do i drain it thanks???

Should be the big plug that looks like the drain plug on the tranny.

before someone comes on and is a jerk to you, you don't change it, just make sure the resovoir is always full to in between the max and min lines, no need to change it.

how come you dont have to change the ACD fluid ??in my opinion it has to be changed anyone else knows something??

it doesn't have a lot of heat going through it and doesn't get dirty really, kind of like brake fluid except it's ATF so it doesn't rapidly absorb moisture that lessens performance. if the line is ever disconnected it will need refilled and bled through the bleeder on the transfer case. in the mitsu maintenance schedule it only says to check the fluid level every so often and add as needed.

Does the ACD pump make a low brrrrr noise when turning and accelerating..
